I’m heading off to the US next week to officially launch ‘The Stylist’s Guide to NYC’ in NYC! It will be held at the wonderful & inspirational, Anthropologie. Book signing from 6 – 8pm on Thursday 26th at the Soho store: 375 West Broadway, NYC 10012. So before you jet off to the Hamptons for the long weekend come and say hi- can’t wait to see you there!

My old assistant from New York, Julie Ho, went on to a fabulously festive career with her friend Nick, starting Confetti Systems after working at Martha Stewart together. They do lots of fantastic collaborative stuff and whilst I was working on ‘The Stylists’s Guide to NYC’ I went to their showroom/workspace and took these pictures. Check it out!

A Stylist’s Guide to NYC was officially launched last night with a party at MsG’s! Sponsored by Bloom and Absolut. I had so much fun (and so many more champagnes). My most fav & oldest friend, Edwina McCann, Editor of Harper’s Bazaar opened the night and the rest of the evening was filled with laughs and cocktails and a very late dinner with a sword-straw fight. MsG’s was the perfect host as usual!

My good friends at Edo Arts are having a Charity Event for the Japanese tsunami and earthquake appeals. It sounds super fun with a Shakuhachi Master, Koto players and a silent auction plus it’s for a good cause!

I have a great personal reference library that I have been acquiring for many years. I have a genuine love of books, all books & reference them daily. I have had floor to ceiling shelves made to house this collection, which even has its own library ladder! Here is a list of the books I go back to time & time again, for inspiration and information.
